Huh?
I dunno.
Anyhoo, if you're up for some changes, here's a couple tips.
My friend Diedre showed me how to make my pictures big, I've been looking for that for.ev.er. Here's her tutorial. I think she's brilliant. Probably cause she is.
I've also been wanting a less cluttered look to my blog than the scrapbook type ones I've been using. (We'll see how long this lasts. :)) I ventured out into google land yesterday and ran across this charming site, which is where I got the template and a signature! I love my handwriting now. :) BTW, the link is for the 2-page layout templates...which is what you'll need if you use Deed's "big picture" tutorial.
Glitches:
~sometimes my pictures are too big, and part of it gets cut off (I don't know how to fix that except for changing it from xlarge to large--like I did with the duck pictures) feel free to chime in with what's probably an html? fix
~~I didn't save my template before uploading the new one and my navbar disappeared, kinda freaked me out. (Though, I did copy and past my sidebar stuff...but didn't need to.) It required another html fix...I really need to learn html, that stuff scares me. But I figured it out! after 20 more gray hairs sprouted, that is. **
~~~I didn't read all her instructions for installing the signature, so in case you miss it . . . after you get your signature code you can install it under "settings, formatting, post template".
What other cool stuff am I missing? Fill me in! :)
**in case you're missing your navbar...here's what it should look like (go under layout and html) mine said something like--which was something like "nothing -5 important!":
#navbar-iframe {
opacity:0.6;
filter:alpha(Opacity=60)
}
/* Variable definitions
If you're crazy enough to try this, you will need a hot bath and candles and chocolate once you're done. A foot rub won't hurt either.
